My career began in 1981 on the club scene. As a Marine station in Beaufort SC., I started performing in numerous night clubs spanning from South Carolina to Georgia, which landed me a job as host/radio announcer at (WVGB)1490AM.
Specialized in crowd participation and hosting events, I spent several years of not being able to get up close and personal with my audience. In 1990, being diversified in all genres of music, I decided to turn my entertaining energy toward private events, such as birthday parties, weddings, hosting shows, etc...
Now I only perform for private and corporate events. My knowledge, personality, and past performances for a vast range of audiences, has prepared me to truly handle any event that comes my way.
I started Check 1-2 Enterprise to provide the customers, services that other agencies often prevented me from offering to my clients. Now with over 17 years of experience in the wedding industry, it has become my most sought after service.
